Website Overhaul &
Brand Refresh

Disciplines:

Branding. Graphic Design. UI/UX.

The DM Injury Law website redesign was a full creative overhaul touching every visible layer of the brand. The existing site lacked visual clarity, hierarchy, and a consistent identity that reflected the firm's values. My role was to define the creative direction, align internal stakeholders, and coordinate with the external development agency to bring a modernized, cohesive experience to life across every p itch, or making a brand unforgettable.

Onboarding Deck

Having spent time on both sides of the agency/client relationship, I know how much good upfront communication can shape a project. As part of the website redesign process, I put together an extensive reference document for the external agency — curating examples of design directions, website layouts, and visual styles that captured what we were going for, as well as what we weren't. That kind of clarity at the start saves time, reduces back and forth, and keeps the creative moving in the right direction.

Mockups

To make sure the vision translated clearly into the build, I created mockups and wireframes that laid out exactly what I wanted before the agency wrote a single line of code. Having a working knowledge of HTML and CSS made those conversations much smoother. Being able to speak the language of the developers kept feedback specific and handoffs clean, with nothing getting lost between design and build.

Collaborative Iteration

Reviewing the agency's mockups with a critical eye was just as important as the initial direction setting. I pushed the work further where it needed to go, adjusting layouts, refining visual choices, and making sure the overall feel lined up with the brand vision we had established. Having that clarity from the start made it easy to identify where things drifted and give specific, actionable feedback to get them back on track.
